A universally applicable template for a reliable and functioning authorization concept does not exist due to the individuality and the different processes within each company. Therefore, the structures of the company and the relevant processes must be analyzed in detail during the creation process. Some core elements of the authorization concept to be created can be defined in advance. First, select the authorization object that you want to maintain. There can be multiple permissions for each authorization object. Then load the trace data by clicking the Evaluate Trace button. With the Apply button, you can now take the values line by line, column by column, or field by field. In the left part of the window, you will see the permission values added to the suggestion values already visible. Task & functionality of the SAP authorization concept

In a local table, find an entry for the user ID that you are creating in the SU01 transaction. For example, such a local table might be an Active Directory replication or a mini personnel master set, or you may have another data source that you replicate to your SAP system. Then, fill in the fields of transaction SU01 with the data from the local table.
