The second component of the application layer is the message server. It acts as a kind of "mediator" between the services and the applications.

SAP Basis consists of three layers: a database layer, an application layer and a presentation layer. The database layer manages all the data of the SAP system in a database located on the database server and administered by a database management system (DBMS). The database supplies the connected SAP applications with the required data, data tables or system control tables. It also receives and stores new information generated by the user.

SAP Basis is the foundation of any SAP system. You can find a lot of useful information about it on this page: www.sap-corner.de.

This makes it possible to ensure that every user on the launchpad can only see and open their applications. Open Launchpad permissions SAP provides default roles for opening the Fiori Launchpad. This distinguishes between the Fiori permissions to start the launchpad normally and to manage the user interface.

This saves us a lot of time and ensures that no checks are overlooked when performing manually. Security Automation via HR Permissions HR permissions are a very risky topic in many companies and are often only touched with silk gloves.

Tools such as "Shortcut for SAP Systems" are extremely useful in basic administration.

On the other hand, the protection of personal data of one's own employees is one of the most important tasks of the authorisation system.

This distinction must also be drawn in the direction of application development.
