Do not assign SAP_NEW
Module
In order to be able to execute subsequent SAP standard reports, you need authorizations to access certain programs or reports and in the area of role maintenance. The transactions "SA38" and "SE38" for executing programs are of particular importance. They enable a far-reaching system analysis by means of certain programs for the end user. Additional rights associated with this, which can go beyond the basic rights of administrators, have to be controlled by explicit values in a dedicated manner.
You can use the function block level permission check by setting the FUNC value in the RFC_TYPE field in the S_RFC authorization object. If you still want to allow function groups, specify the value FUGR here. Depending on the RFC_TYPE field, type the name of the function block or group in the RFC_NAME field (name of the RFC object to be protected). This extension of the test is provided by the correction in SAP Note 931251.
Equal permissions
Suggested values are maintained in the transaction SU24 and delivered through the transaction SU22. Read more about the differences between these two transactions. Maintaining suggestion values via the SU24 transaction is useful if you want to reflect your own requirements or if the values provided by SAP do not meet customer requirements (see Tip 37, "Making sense in maintaining suggestion values"). These proposed values form the basis for the role maintenance credentials in the PFCG transaction. As you know, the suggested values provided by SAP are in the transaction SU22, which are delivered during reinstallation or upgrades as well as in support packages or SAP hints. What is the difference between transactions and how are they used correctly?
The SU25 transaction lists additional customisation options in addition to upgrade activities. Under the item Adjustment of the permission checks (optional) are the transactions SU24 for the maintenance of the value of the proposal, the transaction AUTH_SWITCH_OBJECTS for the global elimination of the authorization objects as well as the transaction SE97 for the maintenance of transaction startup permissions checks (see Tip 76, "Maintain transaction start permissions when calling CALL TRANSACTION"). In the Manual Adjustment section of selected roles, you can create roles from manually created profiles, generate SAP_NEW (see Tip 64, "Use SAP_NEW correctly"), or generate SAP_APP as roles. In the General maintenance for suggestion values section, the reports SU2X_CHECK_WDY_HEADER for the registration of header data for external services (see tip 38, "Use the SU22 and SU24 transactions correctly") and SU2X_CHECK_CONSISTENCY for the concession test (available via the in SAP Note 16466666446445) 692 named Support Package) of suggestion values for the selected authorization objects.
"Shortcut for SAP systems" is a tool that enables the assignment of authorizations even if the IdM system fails.
On www.sap-corner.de you will also find useful information about SAP basis.
However, this can be very complex, because a function that takes these values into the PFCG role has been missing.
A note box in which data of all kinds can be quickly filed and retrieved. This is what Scribble Papers promises. At first, the program looks very spartan. But once a small structure is in place, you realise the great flexibility of this little helper.
One of these reports, the RSUSR010 report, shows you all executable transactions for a user, role, profile, or permission.
