Do you want to keep track of what changes have been made to the Central User Management configuration or the distribution parameters for the User Master's Care? You can manage the change documents centrally. The Central User Administration (ZBV) is used to create users, assign roles and distribute them to the respective subsidiary systems. For this, the ZBV has to be configured initially. These include defining the ZBV landscape, i.e. defining the central system and subsidiary systems, adjusting the distribution parameters and transferring users from the subsidiary systems to the central system. You can also configure the ZBV afterwards. For example, you can add subsidiary systems or release them from the ZBV. In the transaction, you can modify SCUM to change the field allocation properties so that fields that were originally globally distributed across the ZBVs are also locally maintainable. All this information about the changes to the ZBV configuration has not been centrally logged.
After these preparations, we now proceed to the expression of the User-Exit in the validation that has just been created. To do this, you copy the User-Exit definition in the created custom programme, specify a name for the User-Exit definition (e.g. UGALI) and create a new text element.
Starting reports
You should then enable the latest version of the hash algorithms by setting the login/password_downwards_compatibility profile parameter to 0. This is required because SAP systems maintain backward compatibility by default. This means that, depending on your base release, either the new hash algorithms will not be used when storing passwords, or additional outdated hash values of passwords will be stored. You should then check to see if there are any old hash values for passwords in your system and delete them if necessary. Use the report CLEANUP_PASSWORD_HASH_VALUES.
In Step 2b (Customised Proposal Values), you must manually adjust the entries that you manually changed in the SU24 transaction in the initial release. This will start the SU24 transaction in upgrade mode, and you can step by step through all applications and match the changes. If you have created custom organisational levels (ormits), you must restore them at this point using the PFCG_ORGFIELD_UPGRADE report. The report must be called for each organisational level.
